Signed checkpoints

Every hour, and on demand, two operators sign the log's size and root. The signed statement's SHA-256 is sent to public OpenTimestamps calendars, which commit it to Bitcoin within hours. Until then it shows as pending. Download the statement and its .ots file and check them with the ots verify tool. A consistency proof shows that a later log extends an earlier one without rewriting it.
